The Chicago Sandlot Classic is a celebration of community, competition, and summer fun in the heart of Chopin Park. Kids take the field for a day of backyard baseball, while families enjoy live music, bounce houses, food trucks, local vendors, and more!
As the sun sets, we'll come together for a free outdoor showing of The Sandlot at dusk. Bring your blanket, your crew, and your neighborhood pride.

WHAT IS THE CHICAGO SANDLOT CLASSIC?
A one-of-a-kind afternoon of kid-friendly competition and community celebration at Chopin Park. Players compete in a single-elimination backyard baseball tournament using WIFFLE® balls, while families enjoy a full lineup of free activities, food, and entertainment.
