Established in 2013, In-The-Parks.org is a Chicago nonprofit built on a simple belief: neighborhood parks are where connection, belonging, and community grow. We proudly support park heroes, advisory councils, staff, volunteers, and families as they turn meaningful ideas into programs, events, and opportunities. Whether a park needs creative support, outreach, fundraising, technology, or simply an extra set of hands, we are always ready to help in any way we can so every park community feels supported, connected, and celebrated.

The Chicago Park District provides recreation, wellness opportunities, cultural programming, and sustainable green spaces across more than 600 parks. At Chopin Park, it maintains the fieldhouse, playground, spray feature, athletic fields, tennis courts, and community programming.
